Here is everything that you should know about the iOS 18.3 features, release timeline, and more.
Speaking of the features first, the new iOS 18.3 includes the Visual Intelligence features, tweaked Notification Summaries, and bug fixes for Siri and Apple Music. Here’s everything in detail:
All the iPhone 16 series users will now be able to add events to the calendar from a poster or flyer using the Visual Intelligence feature. The new feature will also allow the users to easily identify the plants and animals.

Now that the notification summaries are in the headlines, Apple has added a few tweaks to it for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 series. It includes the ability to easily manage the settings for notification summaries from the Lock Screen. The company has also updated the style for summarised notifications which differs from other notifications by using italicized text. Additionally, iOS 18.3 will also make the notification summaries for News and Entertainment apps unavailable.
The update will also include enhancements and bug fixes to the Calculator’s repeat mathematical operation, the keyboard might disappear when initiating a typed Siri request, and audio playback.
The iOS 18.3 release candidate update is already available to developers and beta testers, and it is considered the final version of the software that will be released to the public. According to reports, iOS 18.3 may be released on January 28. However, Apple has yet to officially confirm the date.
The iPadOS 18.3, macOS Sequoia 15.3, tvOS 18.3, visionOS 2.3, and watchOS 11.3 are also expected to be released next week.
The update will be available for all the iPhones running on iOS 18 and above. However, the Apple Intelligence features will be limited to the iPhone 15 Pro and above devices.
