Every year on September 5, Teachers’ Day is celebrated in India. The day is dedicated to appreciating the teachers who guide us, mentor us, and help shape our futures. The date also marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (1888–1975), India’s second President and one of the country’s most respected scholars. Back in 1962, when Dr. Radhakrishnan became President, his students wanted to celebrate his birthday. Instead of making it about himself, he suggested that the day should be dedicated to teachers everywhere.
For many of us, Teachers’ Day is about more than just a formal ceremony in school or college. It’s a reminder of how much teachers do. They inspire, mentor, and often spark dreams that last a lifetime.
However, the way we celebrate has changed with time. While handwritten notes and face-to-face greetings are always special, students are now turning to WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook to send wishes, create posts, and share their appreciation online.
WhatsApp status videos are one of the most popular ways to extend wishes. These short, heartfelt clips are a quick way to share wishes via online mediums such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. Apart from wishes, you can opt for a WhatsApp Status or Instagram Story to share wishes on this day.
Users can download videos from platforms such as YouTube, Pixabay, Freepik, and Pinterest. Once saved to a device, users can easily upload them as their WhatsApp status.
Meanwhile, here are a few status videos that you can download from here and share in your status.
