Google has introduced an update to Google AI Studio. The tech giant has brought a full-stack vibe coding experience. With this the company aims to make app development easy for the developers. Taking to a blog post, the company stated that it is designed to help users turn simple text prompts into fully functional applications, much like Emergent. It is powered by Google’s new Antigravity AI agent, which is known for handling many stages of app development including writing code to setting up backend systems.
Now, the users will be able to create more complex apps via AI Studio. This will also support real-time multiplayer experiences, collaborative tools and interactive applications, which enable multiple to connect and interact. This can also detect app requires a database or login systems and configure the backend using Firebase services such as Cloud Firestore and authentication tools.
The company has also added support for modern web development frameworks along with an option to create apps with Next.js. The system can automatically install required libraries and tools, such as animation frameworks or UI components, based on the project’s requirements.
In addition, developers can now integrate APIs for payments, maps, databases, and other real-world services, with sensitive credentials securely stored using the built-in secrets management system. Users can also save progress automatically and continue working across devices without losing their place. The AI agent has also been improved to better understand the overall project structure and previous instructions, resulting in more accurate updates and faster iteration.
