Elon Musk Grok Image
Elon Musk-owned XAI has been making headlines ever since its launch. The Tesla owner continues to promote the AI platform through social media posts. In a recent post, Musk claimed that the Grok Imagine aims to give users “superhuman imagination powers.” The statement comes after Musk’s announcement to expand access to Grok Imagine beyond Apple devices. For the unversed, Grok Imagine lets people create AI-generated photos and short videos from a simple text or voice prompt.
It also allows users to upload their images and customise and enhance their photos with AI-driven effects. Users can also upload their pictures and make changes to them, such as editing the background and using AI tools. According to Musk, the feature has already produced more than 44 million images.
To use Grok Imagine, users will be required to download the Grok app from the App Store or Google Play. Users can select the “Imagine” option, enter a prompt, or upload a photo. Within moments, the system generates an image, which can then be turned into a short video with the “Make video” feature.
The video feature has four modes- Normal, Fun, Custom, and the controversial “Spicy.” The Spicy mode allows limited NSFW content, such as partial nudity, but comes with certain limitations, including the blocking of extreme or politically sensitive requests. According to a report by TechCrunch, users attempted to generate something provocative, like an image of a pregnant Donald Trump, but Grok instead offered toned-down versions.

Meanwhile, Musk also confirmed that Grok Imagine is now free for Android and iOS users worldwide, though the offer will last only for a limited period. Initially reserved for paid subscribers, the tool can now generate portraits, branded content, and six-second videos with music at no cost.
