Along with the iPhone 17e, Apple has finally introduced a more powerful and loaded iPad Air. The new device is backed by the latest M4 chip, promising better performance, improved graphics, and enhanced AI capabilities, alongside upgraded connectivity with new in-house wireless chips. The iPad Air is available in both 11-inch and 13-inch sizes and aims to help students, creators, gamers and business users who look for pro-level power on the go. M4 iPad Air specs
The all-new iPad Air comes with Apple Silicon’s M4 chipset, offering an 8-core CPU and 9-core GPU. Apple claims that the device is up to 30 per cent faster than its predecessor with the M3 chipset and more than twice as fast as the M1 model. It also offers 12GB RAM for improved multitasking and AI workloads.
The company has also added a new N1 wireless chip with Wi-Fi 7 support and the C1X modem on cellular variants for faster 5G connectivity. The device supports accessories such as Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard, and ships with iPadOS 26.
The device also comes with a landscape-oriented 12 MP Center Stage front camera and is paired with advanced microphones and stereo speakers for better FaceTime calls. It also gets a 12MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture.
