Apple has done it again! The brand knows very well how to become the talk of the town, and this time not because of an iPhone, an Apple Watch, or any other tech products, but for a fashion accessory that can be used to carry an iPhone. The tech giant, in collaboration with Japanese fashion house ISSEY MIYAKE, has unveiled the iPhone Pocket, a 3D-knit, limited-edition “wearable pocket” designed to carry an iPhone, AirPods, and whatever’s left after paying for it. Notably, it will be available in select global markets from this week onwards, but there is no mention of its availability in India.
The newly launched iPhone Pocket comes in two strap variants – one with a short strap and the other with a long strap. The short strap version will set you back $149.95 (roughly Rs 13,200), while the long strap stretches to $229.95 (roughly Rs 20,400). Because why settle for an ordinary pocket when you can own a luxury iPhone pouch?
The iPhone pocket with a short strap is available in Lemon, Mandarin, Purple, Pink, Peacock, Sapphire, Cinnamon, and Black, while the long strap design is available in Sapphire, Cinnamon, and Black colour options.
The Apple iPhone Pocket limited-edition will be available in 10 flagship Apple Stores worldwide, including France, Greater China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and the US, starting November 14. It will also be available on online stores in select regions.
