Apple has officially expanded its physical retail footprint in India by opening Apple Borivali for the fans. This is the company’s second retail store in Mumbai and sixth in India. The new store is located at the Sky City Mall and expands the company’s presence beyond the South Mumbai’s Apple BKC store and aims to serve customers across the city’s western suburbs.
The store, as per the reports, spreads across 12,616 square feet on the ground floor of the mall and offers the company’s complete lineup of products, including the latest iPhone models, Apple Watch variants, iPad devices and Mac computers powered by Apple silicon. The store has a team of more than 70 members trained to assist customers with product discovery, device setup, switching to iOS, trade-ins and technical support through the Genius Bar.
As per the reports, the Apple Borivali store is leased for over 10 years at a monthly rent of approximately Rs 17.35 lakh. However, Apple has not confirmed the details and these are just rumours.
