Amid the surge in users, Anthropic has now started a limited-time promotion. The company says users who access the Claude AI chatbot during off-peak hours will receive double their normal message limits for a short period. This promotion has already started and will end on March 27 and is available to users across several plans. What is the Anthropic promotion offer?
During this campaign, all users will be able to use twice their usual allowance within the standard five-hour usage window. The best thing? You don’t have to do anything, as the benefit applies automatically when users access Claude outside the designated peak hours. The company stated that the extra capacity will appear automatically in the accounts when the service is used during eligible hours.
Free usage timings
As per the company, the bonus will apply outside weekday peak hours, which are from 8 AM to 2 PM Eastern Time, 5:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST. This means the double limit benefit is available through most daytime hours and late at night and the entire weekend.
Anthropic double limit eligibility and supported plans
Anthropic’s new offer applies to several Claude plans, which include the free plan, Pro plan, Max plan and Team plan. Do note that the enterprise customers are not included in the offer. If you are an existing subscriber or a new one, you will be able to take advantage of this offer.
Where the Anthropic promotion works
The doubled usage limits will be available all over the most official Claude platforms and integrations, including the Claude web interface (Claude.ai), Desktop and mobile applications, Claude Code, Claude for Excel, Claude for PowerPoint and Cowork integration tools.
How the double limit works
Claude restricts the number of messages users can send within a five-hour span. During the offer period, the limit gets doubled if the chatbot is used during the off-peak hours automatically. For heavy users on paid plans, the bonus messages do not count toward weekly limits once the normal allowance is exhausted. After the promotion ends on March 27, usage limits will automatically return to their standard levels.
