Google has released the second Developer Preview (DP) of Android 15, which brings with it many new features and improvements. You get features like satellite connectivity and screen recorder detection, which was previously seen on iOS. In addition to this, you also get to see some overdue features and security enhancements. With this, Google is focussing on enhancing communication, productivity, privacy, security, and media experiences. Read along as I share some key features with you.
Not only this, the update offers seamless NFC functionality, on-device multi-language audio recognition, expanded support for apps on the cover screen of flipping foldable phones, compliance with the CTA-2075 loudness standard for consistent audio levels, and the ability to archive apps from the App Info screen to save storage space.
Currently, Android 15 DP 2 has limited availability as this release is intended for developers. It is only available for select Pixel devices, including Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet.
