Xiaomi has officially made its Gran Turismo debut. Starting today, January 29, 2026, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is available in Gran Turismo 7 on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as part of Update 1.67. This marks the first time a Xiaomi vehicle has entered the long-running racing franchise, which is known for its strict vehicle selection and emphasis on realism. The update went live at 11:30 AM IST, allowing players to immediately experience Xiaomi’s high-performance electric sedan on virtual tracks around the world.

Xiaomi’s SU7 coming to Gran Turismo isn’t a complete surprise. In June last year, a collaboration between Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital was announced. According to reports, Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi test drove the car at multiple real-world circuits, including the Nürburgring Nordschleife and Tsukuba Circuit, while Xiaomi’s vehicle dynamics team worked closely with Polyphony Digital to fine-tune the in-game model. The goal was simple but demanding: ensure the digital SU7 Ultra behaves as close to the real car as possible.
In the real world, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra sits at the top of Xiaomi’s EV lineup. It uses the company’s in-house Hyper Tri-Motor setup, producing 1,548 horsepower and 1,770 Nm of torque, with a claimed 0 to 100 km/h time of 1.98 seconds. The car also made headlines in 2025 after setting a 7:04.957 lap time at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, a record for electric executive vehicles.
Update 1.67 is not just about Xiaomi. Alongside the SU7 Ultra, the update introduces the Hyundai Elantra N TC ’24 and the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) ’22. Players also get new World Touring Car events at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Spa-Francorchamps, and Mount Panorama, plus a new Extra Menu focused on Hyundai N models for high-level collectors. To mark Xiaomi’s arrival, Polyphony Digital is also hosting a two-week official lap time challenge at Monza using the SU7 Ultra.
