Do note that the event is completely free to watch, and no ticket or subscription is required. Gamescom’s own channels will also carry a wider mix of shows through the week, including Opening Night Live on August 25.

Xbox will stream live from its booth on two separate days. The first broadcast airs Wednesday, August 26, and the second follows on Thursday, August 27. For Indian users the event will start at 7:30pm IST.

Xbox Gamescom 2026: What can fans expect?

The fans visiting the event in person will reportedly get access to 140 demo stations and 25 playable titles. Confirmed games include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Gears of War: E-Day, Minecraft Dungeons II, and the post-apocalyptic shooter METRO 2039.

Not only that, Fable will also get its first public live demo, showing off combat in a theatre presentation by Playground Games. Forza Horizon 6 brings a new Drift Attack mode, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will feature the National Championship Air Races.
