Sony NGP gets three video gameplay previews, shows impressive performance

With only a few days ahead of E3 2011, debut trailers are being released left right and center. Partaking in the madness, Sony has released three NGP dev diary videos that are essentially game previews for Wipeout, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and Sound Shapes, as well as previews of the quality of games we can expect on the quad-core processor (ARM Cortex-A9) powered Sony Next Generation Portable.

Note that the hardware being used are pre-production units that aren’t as polished as the devices will be when they actually hit stores. Apart from showing some pretty impressive graphical performance, the videos also show benefits of dual-analog sticks on the device, apart from the large 5-inch 960×544 OLED touchscreen, rear touchpads, and even the front-facing camera.
