If you ask the gaming community about the most-awaited title of the year, there is a chance that most people will say GTA 6. The Rockstar Games’ production was earlier slated to release in 2025 and was then pushed to March. However, it is now set to launch on November 19 this year. And since there have been multiple delays already, reports of another possible delay keep surfacing every now and then. But as per recent rumours, we might finally get the game in November this year. Read on.

A social media post by reliable insider Millie A has gone viral. In the post, the insider says that Rockstar Games has notified Sony and Microsoft that the game is ‘on track’
‘Sony and Microsoft have been formally notified by Take-Two Interactive that Grand Theft Auto VI remains on track for release within the current fiscal year. At this stage, there are no planned delays, and the launch ‘window’ is understood to be firm,’ the tweet reads.
Now, it is to be noted that the current fiscal year will end on April 1, 2026. Hence, since GTA 6 is slated for a November 2026 release, the game will come out in the next fiscal year. However, the part of the game being ‘on track’ might still be believable.
Another reason to believe that GTA 6 might indeed launch on time is reports of its pre-orders set to go live soon. A recent report by RockstarIntel, originally attributed to leakster PlaystationSize on X, says that GTA 6 title IDs have been added to the PS store database. This usually happens when a pre-order is coming soon.
As of now, the moment you boot up your PS5, an option to add GTA 6 to the wishlist greets you. But with two title IDs reportedly added to the PS store database, the pre-order option might indeed be coming soon. And if the game does go up for pre-order, it means it is ready and set to release on time.
PS: Do remember that all of this is mere rumours and speculation at this point and Rockstar Games hasn’t officially said anything about pre-orders going live. So do take this information with a pinch of salt and keep watching this space for more updates on GTA 6.
