The surprise release quickly became a hot topic online, with clips of the trailer circulating across Instagram, X and other platforms. Fans couldn’t stop talking about the impressive graphics, thrilling car chases, and new characters shown in the video.

GTA 6 will feature two main characters: Jason and Lucia. Rockstar has shared a small description about the plot, saying: “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

Along with Jason and Lucia, GTA 6 will introduce several new faces. So far, confirmed names include Boobie Ike, Brian Heder, Cal Hampton, Dre’Quan Priest, Raul Bautista, and Real Dimez.
According to Rockstar, the game will take players to “the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
GTA 6 is officially set to launch on May 26, 2026. In India, the standard edition is expected to be priced at around Rs 5,999, while special editions could cost Rs 7,299 or even higher.
Rockstar hasn’t revealed the official system requirements yet. However, leaks suggest the game might need at least an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor, GTX 1080 Ti or Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card, 8GB RAM, and 150GB of storage space.
