If you’re a fan of the Grand Theft Auto series, you’ve probably been counting the days until GTA 6 (GTA VI) finally arrives. Rockstar Games hasn’t shared many official details yet, but leaks and reports have given us a pretty good idea of what to expect. According to leaks, GTA 6 will likely launch on September 17, 2025. However, the game could initially launch only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, leaving PC players waiting until 2026 for their version of the game.
Reports suggest that the standard edition of GTA 6 might be priced at around Rs 5,999. The special editions might go up to Rs 7,299. In international markets, the price is expected to go as high as $100 (about Rs 9,000).

Planning to play GTA 6 on PC? You might need a powerful setup. The expected requirements include a processor like Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. For smooth graphics, you could need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5700XT. Additionally, the game may require Windows 10, DirectX 12, at least 8GB of RAM, and around 150GB of storage.
GTA 6 is expected to introduce the series’ first female protagonist, Lucia, who will share the spotlight with her male partner in a dual-character story mode. The game is also expected to come with smarter AI, improved physics, and enhanced graphics. The classic Wanted system might get a refresh, with intelligent police AI and new stealth-based escape options.
The map will likely be inspired by Florida, bringing back the iconic Vice City with a modern twist. Players can explore a vast, detailed world with beaches, swamps, and bustling cityscapes, making the environment more immersive than ever.
