Rockstar Games recently dropped the second trailer of GTA 6, and it’s everything fans have been waiting for. Released without prior announcement on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel, the trailer has taken the internet by storm, offering an exciting glimpse into what the next Grand Theft Auto game has in store.
The new game promises a fresh story, new characters, and the most detailed world we’ve ever seen in the series. Let’s take a look at what we know so far about the much-awaited GTA 6.
GTA 6 will focus on two main characters: Jason and Lucia. This is how the second trailer’s description describes the plot of GTA 6: “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

Along with Jason and Lucia, the game introduces several new faces. Some of the other characters confirmed so far include Boobie Ike, Brian Heder, Cal Hampton, Dre’Quan Priest, Raul Bautista and Real Dimez.
According to Rockstar, GTA 6 “heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
The much-awaited GTA 6 game is officially set to be released on May 26, 2026, as confirmed by Rockstar Games.
The standard version of GTA 6 is likely to cost around Rs 5,999 in India. Special editions could be priced at Rs 7,299 or more. Internationally, the price may go up to $100, which is roughly Rs 9,000.

To play GTA 6 smoothly, you might need at least an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, a GTX 1080 Ti or Radeon RX 5700 XT, 8GB RAM and 150GB storage.
