Nintendo Switch 2 games releasing in February

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, a remake of the classic title, will be released on 5 February. The remake is set to feature ‘diorama’ artwork, and along with that, the developers have also suggested that it will feature a refreshed battle system and a streamlined story for new players.

Nintendo has also confirmed that Mario Tennis Fever, made for the Switch 2, is finally coming out on 12 February. The game is set to feature a tonne of characters from the Mario universe, and not only that, but developers have also showcased a bunch of game modes, which has got fans very excited since the start.

The latest game from RGG Studios, Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, is also coming out this month on 12 February. In case you didn’t know, previous titles from the franchise, like Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2, have already been released on the platform. RGG Studios are yet to announce ports of other new releases on the Switch 2.

The next entry comes in the form of REANIMAL, which will be released on the 14 February. It comes from the creators of the very well-received Little Nightmares franchise. The developers say that players will have to work together to ‘solve puzzles, flee from monsters, and escape an island thick with dread’. While the game is available to play in a co-op mode, it also features a single-player option.

Along with the previous titles, a bunch of games from the Resident Evil franchise are also being released on the Switch 2. The list includes Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, Resident Evil Village and even the latest entry in the franchise, Resident Evil Requiem. All these games will be released on the platform on 27 February.

New console in the Nintendo Classics library

A new console is also being added to the Nintendo Classics on the platform, as the very popular Virtual Boy games will also be released on 17 February. The console games will be available on both the Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch. The list of the Virtual Boy library includes Galactic Pinball, Teleroboxer, Mario’s Tennis, and more. All of these can even be played in stereoscopic 3D, with an accessory that Nintendo is releasing for this specific title.
