Krafton is all set to introduce a new character, Kiaraa, especially for the Indian audience. Unlike the other characters we have seen in the game so far through celebrity tie-ups or licensed collaborations, Kiaraa is completely different. The character has been developed in-house and exclusively for Indian BGMI enthusiasts. According to the company, Kiaraa will be part of BGMI’s festive-season content and will arrive with an India-themed setting, a boss battle, new rewards, and a Diwali-inspired bazaar on Erangel. Here’s when you can expect to see the new character in BGMI.
The BGMI 4.6 update was officially rolled out on September 16, but the new character Kiaraa will be available starting October 8. Aside from the character, the players can also download the dedicated content related to her.
Krafton India will also introduce its first India-specific Prize Path from October 22 to November 15, 2026. It’s a Diwali-themed event and will have 20 stages with festive rewards.

The players will be able to meet the new character Kiaraa in the bazaar, which is introduced in the gameplay. However, prior to that the players will need to find four lamps placed in the courtyard in the shape of peacocks. The summon points can then be used to call Kiaraa and start the boss fight.
Kiaraa will use a bow and arrows and is said to launch attacks from above. The Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection will include the Kiaraa Nakshatra Set, Divine Peacock Glider, Divine Radiance SCAR-L, Divine Chariot Buggy, Arrow Rain Emote and Divine Edge Machete. Players can also expect an Exchange Center, daily login rewards and Kiaraa Arena challenges.

If you want to get the new Kiaraa character in BGMI 4.6, then you need to make sure that you’ve updated the app from the Google Play Store. Once done, check if there are any updates displayed within the BGMI app. At times the app auto-downloads the new content to install the new updates. Keep in mind that Kiaraa is an upcoming character and will remain locked until its scheduled October 8 launch.
