If you logged onto Rockstar Games’ website recently, you might have noticed something different. The home page, which was once a static hub of the studio’s biggest hits, has just received a glossy new facelift. The redesign of GTA VI maker’s came without any announcements or teasers. And the sudden update has sent the entire gaming community buzzing. In addition to this, rumours of GTA VI (finally) getting a new trailer have also surfaced. Read on to know more.

The redesigned Rockstar homepage now features a slick carousel showcasing game logos and quick-access buttons, with Grand Theft Auto VI front and centre. There’s a link to the “Explore Leonida” page and even a direct gateway to the game’s second trailer – which fans have watched and rewatched ever since it dropped earlier this year.
The change was first spotted by popular Rockstar insider Tez2, who pointed out that the new layout feels like more than just a visual refresh. Given Rockstar’s reputation for dropping hints in plain sight, fans are treating this update as a potential prelude to the third GTA 6 trailer, possibly arriving just in time for the holiday season.
It’s been nearly a year since Rockstar unveiled GTA 6’s first trailer in December 2023, followed by a second one earlier this year. With the game slated for release in May 2026, players are now entering the final stretch of the wait. Moreover, one last Christmas before launch feels like the perfect stage for Rockstar to reignite the hype.
Many in the gaming community believe that the website update could be part of a larger marketing push, especially amid reports that Sony has locked down promotional rights for GTA 6 on the PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro. If that’s true, a major reveal before the holidays would be perfectly timed to fuel console sales and ramp up anticipation for what’s expected to be the biggest entertainment launch in history.
Rockstar, of course, hasn’t confirmed anything yet and it probably won’t. The studio has a long history of letting its work (and its website) speak for itself. Still, this quiet update has done exactly what Rockstar wanted: set the internet ablaze with speculation, theories, and excitement.
