Zootopia has been one of the most loved animated movies on Disney since its launch in 2019. After a long gap of nearly nine years, Disney is finally returning with the sequel to the busy animal city. Zootopia 2 will be bringing back some familiar characters while introducing some new faces. Zootopia 2 was released in the theatres on November 26, 2025, and is currently running on the big screen worldwide. While Disney has not confirmed the OTT release of the movie yet, early reports suggest that it will be available on the platform around late February or early March. However, it’s also expected that the movie may be available for digital rental and purchase around late January prior to the OTT release. Viewers will be able to rent the movie on popular platforms like Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.

Zootopia 2 is a movie about Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, who are facing problems while working together. Chief Bogo, their boss, tells them to join a counselling programme called Partners in Crisis, where a therapist named Dr Fuzzby helps them talk about their differences and learn to work better as a team.
At the same time, a dangerous venomous snake comes into the city and scares everyone. Judy and Nick must solve the case while dealing with stress and their own issues. As things get harder, they have to decide if they can trust each other or risk failing the mission and their partnership.
The film is co-directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, who also worked on the first Zootopia and Frozen. Ginnifer Goodwin returns as the voice of Judy Hopps, while Jason Bateman voices Nick Wilde. Idris Elba is back as Chief Bogo, and Shakira reprises her role as Gazelle. New cast members include Quinta Brunson as Dr Fuzzby and Ke Huy Quan as the main villain, Snake. Other voices include Fortune Feimster, Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, and Patrick Warburton.
