The battle for Hawkins is far from over. Stranger Things Season 5 Part 2 is almost here, bringing the next chapter of the final season. After the dramatic Part 1, which left Hawkins in chaos and Vecna’s threat stronger than ever, Episodes 5 to 7 promise the most intense and emotional moments yet. Since 2016, the show has grown from a story about a missing boy into an epic adventure with dark secrets, dangerous monsters from the Upside Down, and Eleven’s superpowers. Now, fans can get ready to see the full battle for Hawkins unfold.
Following an exciting start with Part 1, the second batch of episodes will arrive on December 26, 2025, exclusively on Netflix. Since these episodes are expected to push the story into its most intense phase, a large number of viewers are likely to tune in on Christmas Day to catch the continuation of Hawkins’ final battle.
Netflix has also made an important update to its release timing. All episodes from every part of the season will premiere at 8 PM ET (6:30 AM IST), marking a significant shift from the usual 3 AM EST(1 PM IST) release window. This change is intended to create a global simultaneous viewing experience for fans around the world.
Stranger Things Season 5 Part 2 will continue the events set in motion in Stranger Things Season 5 Part 1. Season 4 ended with Hawkins splitting open as the Upside Down began merging with the real world. Eleven injured Vecna, yet his fate remained uncertain. Eddie sacrificed himself, Max was revived but left vulnerable, and Will sensed Vecna’s presence once again.
With Netflix also releasing the first five minutes of Season 5 as a flashback to the end of Season 1, the story hints at Vecna’s deeper influence over the events that unfolded across Hawkins. Episodes 5 to 7 are expected to bridge the gap between the escalating threat and the final showdown set to arrive in Episode 8.
