Ponies is an upcoming series which is a mix of espionage, dramatic storytelling, and dark humour. The series showcases a Cold War-era story with an undeniably intriguing set of unsung heroes. The drama follows the lives of two ordinary women, Bea and Twila, being completely derailed due to their CIA operative spouses’ untimely death. What starts off as an account of loss soon releases into an exciting survival and transformative journey once the CIA recruits both women as undercover operatives. Labelled as ‘persons of no interest’, they stealthily move about through perilous political situations, solving conspiracies and becoming powerful operatives in the process. Ponies boasts an excellent lineup and an engaging storyline that will make for an exciting binge-watching session.

Ponies will be exclusively launched on JioHotstar. Viewers in India can enjoy the show starting January 16, 2026. However, if you’re in the United States, you’ll be able to watch the show on Peacock starting January 15, 2026. All eight episodes of the series will be available to stream from the first day.

Ponies is a story based on two women, Bea and Twila, who find their lives ruined after their CIA operative husbands are killed in a plane crash in the Soviet Union. Struggling to deal with the grief of losing their husbands, these women are surprisingly hired by the CIA as undercover agents. As these two women are not of great importance and do not seem to be a threat to anyone, the CIA assigns them the code name PONIES, ‘persons of no interest’. By this code name, these two women can easily navigate their way in the most critical areas that could be hazardous to their interests. The show depicts how these two women develop from mere female identities to proficient operatives while involving KGB stories of conspiracy.
