The One Piece anime is getting ready to expand its horizon as the makers are all set to launch the Elbaf Arc. Anime fans have been waiting a long time for this moment. After the Straw Hat Pirates wrapped up their journey on the futuristic Egghead Island, their compass now points to Elbaf, the legendary land of giants. Known for its warriors, honour, and deep history, Elbaf has been part of One Piece lore for years. Anime-only viewers will finally see this island come to life on screen. The upcoming Elbaf arc promises big emotions, intense battles, and answers to long-standing mysteries. With new enemies and allies, this arc marks a step in the final saga.
The One Piece Elbaf arc will premiere on April 5, 2026. The anime will continue its Sunday release schedule and will stream internationally on Crunchyroll.
The Elbaf arc will be starting with episode 1156, the week after the Egghead arc concludes. Now that the series has finally moved into a seasonal format, viewers can look forward to each new episode having more consistent pacing and improved animation quality.

Elbaf has been something that Luffy and Usopp have dreamed about for so long. However, after leaving the chaos of Egghead Island behind them, the Straw Hat Pirates set their sights on the peaceful land of the giants.
However, their arrival in Elbaf will not be peaceful for long, especially with the God Knights’ hidden plot in landing there. The God Knights will transform Elbaf into a battleground, giving rise to the appearance of secrets from the past, including the beginnings of the God Valley Incident flashback.

One Piece is created by Eiichiro Oda, with the anime produced by Toei Animation. Mayumi Tanaka continues to voice Monkey D. Luffy, alongside the long-running main cast returning for the Elbaf arc. The series remains under the careful supervision of Oda, ensuring the anime stays true to the story and emotional weight of the manga as it enters its final saga.
