No Tail To Tell narrates the story of Eun Ho, a gumiho who has lived for hundreds of years with magical powers and eternal youth. She enjoys her life just the way it is and has no interest in becoming human. She adores watching humans, reading their books, eating their food, and quietly using her magic to experience the human world, though she will never be a part of that. Life is fun and free to her without responsibilities.
It changes when she encounters Kang Si-yeol unexpectedly, a famous footballer who succeeded at a tender age. His great improvement makes Si-yeol proud and overconfident. He thinks that the world revolves around him and never thinks about others. The first encounter is awkward and strange, especially because Eun Ho tries to scare him by revealing hints of her true identity. Instead, he reacts in funny and unexpected ways.
As fate keeps bringing Eun Ho and Si-yeol together, their lives gradually start to turn around. Eun Ho begins to understand human emotions deeper, while Si-yeol humbles himself and becomes kind. Through the journey of magical moments, misunderstandings, and light-hearted comedy, they question who they were and what was important in life.
