Border 2 is about the 1999 Kargil War. This time, the story moves from the desert battle of Battle of Longewala to the cold and dangerous mountains of the Himalayas.
A group of young Indian soldiers, led by a strong and experienced commander played by Sunny Deol, fight against enemy soldiers who secretly enter the mountains. During winter, the enemy captures important mountain spots. The Indian soldiers must climb the steep mountains and fight in very tough conditions. The freezing cold and thin air make the fight even tougher.
