Sony India has launched the Inzone H9 II (WH-G910N), its second-generation flagship gaming headset for PC and console players. It builds on the first-gen Inzone H9 with improved noise cancellation, clearer voice pickup, a lighter 260g build, and faster wireless performance. Sony says the upgrades were shaped using feedback from esports organisation Fnatic, which positions the headset directly at competitive players who need consistency in audio cues and team communication.

Price and availability

The Inzone H9 II costs Rs 28,990 and will be sold in Black and White colours. The sale will begin on 22 November 2025 on Amazon.in, Flipkart, and ShopAtSC.com.

Specifications

The headset uses a WH-1000XM6-grade driver unit and Sony’s latest Active Noise Cancellation, aimed at capturing faint in-game cues like footsteps while reducing background noise. The closed dynamic design uses 30mm carbon composite diaphragms, and 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming can be enabled through the Inzone Hub app.

Wireless connectivity is handled by a low-latency 2.4GHz USB-C dongle with simultaneous Bluetooth (Classic and LE Audio). Supported codecs include SBC and AAC.

Battery life is rated at up to 30 hours with ANC off, with a 5-minute quick charge giving around an hour of play.

It comes with a cardioid boom microphone that supports AI noise filtering and super wideband audio, which should help with clearer squad communications.

A wired 2m detachable cable is included for latency-critical scenarios.

Other specs include ANC on/off switch, ambient mode, A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP, 111dB/mW sensitivity (on), 440 ohm impedance (on), volume control on-ear, mute button, and a circumaural fit.

Design-wise, Sony has reworked the headband to distribute pressure more evenly, which should help during longer sessions. Weight drops to 260g (without mic), placing it among the lighter premium gaming headsets.

Wireless performance receives a bigger focus this year with simultaneous Bluetooth plus 2.4GHz support, which should help players take calls or notifications without dropping in-game audio.

The ANC system is also upgraded, using the WH-1000XM6 driver unit to boost low-frequency detection for quieter environments and clearer spatial tracking.

The microphone system shifts to a directional cardioid boom with improved stability and AI noise reduction, replacing the more basic setup from the previous generation.

There aren’t many premium alternatives to this product in the Indian market right now. Sony is targeting gamers who want strong ANC, better comms performance, and a more premium build than standard mid-range headsets.
