Realme has announced the launch date for its next true wireless earbuds, the Realme Buds Air 8, in India. The new Buds Air model will debut on January 6, sharing the stage with the upcoming Realme 16 Pro series. • Realme is collaborating with designer Naoto Fukasawa for the Buds Air 8. The buds appear very similar to the Buds Air 7, but the case has more angular edges, and the lid looks like a mesa.
• The buds’ listing on the Realme website shows its three colour options: gold, violet and grey.
• Besides the design, the company is also highlighting key focus areas to be intelligent noise cancellation, adaptive sound, and clearer calls.
• The Realme website listing reveals the buds support Hi-res wireless certification and LHDC codec support for low latency and high definition audio.

The Buds Air line has traditionally focused on offering feature-rich ANC earbuds at aggressive prices. With the Buds Air 8, Realme appears to be doubling down on AI features as a key differentiator, a trend increasingly seen across audio products in this segment.
