Beats x Nike Powerbeats Pro 2 Special Edition launches in India: Price, availability and what’s new

HIGHLIGHTS

The new variant retains core Powerbeats Pro 2 features including ANC, heart rate tracking, and 45-hour battery life claim.

It has a limited edition design with Volt accents and 'Just Do It' branding.

You can buy the Beats x Nike Powerbeats Pro 2 for Rs 29,900.

Beats and Nike have announced the Powerbeats Pro 2 Nike Special Edition, marking the first time the two brands have collaborated on a hardware product. Internally, this is the same Powerbeats Pro 2 that launched early last year. The new variant focuses on design and the Nike branding that may excite those who admire Nike’s sports identity. The collaboration makes sense since Beats has always been known to be a brand associated with sports, music and lifestyle.

Price and availability

The limited edition Powerbeats Pro 2 Nike variant is priced at Rs 29,900 in India. Its sale starts on March 20, 2026, through online channels in India. That’s the same price the original launched last February in our country.

It is available globally in the US, UK, China, Japan, Germany, Canada, Australia, Singapore, France, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Hong Kong.

What’s new

The update here is largely about positioning rather than a hardware upgrade.

  • Dual-brand design language: You can see branding and design elements from both Beats and Nike. For users, it signals a shift where audio devices are also fashion and identity products.
  • Nike Volt colour treatment and detailing: The finish, speckled case, and internal ‘Just Do It’ branding add a distinct visual identity. This is not common in the segment, where most earbuds remain minimal and neutral.
  • Cross-ecosystem fitness integration: The link with Nike Run Club alongside Apple Fitness strengthens its appeal for runners.
  • Lebron James as the brand endorser: As part of this campaign, we can see Mr James, the brand ambassador, putting on the earbuds and playing golf.

Similar to sneaker culture, limited-edition tech products are becoming a way to drive demand. It targets users who value fitness integration and brand identity as much as performance.
