EPFO services like UAN card, PPO, and PF passbook are now accessible via the DigiLocker app on Android smartphones.

PF balance can still be checked through UMANG app, EPFO portal, SMS, or missed call for users without internet access.

Linking Aadhaar in DigiLocker lets users instantly sync their EPFO account and access key documents anytime, anywhere.

The government has rolled out a significant update for Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) members, expanding digital access to key services. Recently, EPFO announced that members can now access their PF-related documents and check their balance directly via the DigiLocker app on Android smartphones. This update will allow users to view and download important EPFO documents such as the UAN card, Pension Payment Order (PPO), and Scheme Certificate through DigiLocker.

Previously, the facility to check and download the PF passbook was available through the UMANG app. While that service remains active, the integration with DigiLocker offers a more convenient way to access PF balance.
