Honor 10 Lite: A closer look at the new Kirin 710 capabilities

The Honor 10 Lite is one of the newest smartphones to come out of Honor’s stable and is among the first devices to sport the new Kirin 710 SoC in India. Let’s take a quick look at the features and performance that the Honor 10 Lite has to offer. 

Starting things off with the performance, the Kirin 710 chipset inside the Honor 10 Lite built on a 12nm architecture and features eight cores. Four of these are A73 cores used for performance intensive purposes, while the other four are A53 cores which are more battery efficient. When you’re gaming, you would want top level performance. As such, the smartphone boasts of GPU Turbo 2.0. The Honor 10 Lite also comes with EMUI 9.0, which is based on Android 9 Pie. 

The smartphone is available in two variants – one with 4GB RAM, and the other with 6GB RAM. So buyers can pick one that best suits their needs and budget. Users get 64GB of storage space, which should be enough for most people. However, if you want, there is an option to expand the storage even further via a microSD card.

In the camera department, the phone sports a dual-camera setup at the back with a 13MP + 2MP configuration. For selfies, the phone offers a 24MP camera at the front with eight AI Selfie Scene detection. This allows the phone to automatically adjust the camera settings based on the scene it detects.

The Honor 10 Lite is available in three colour variants, Sapphire Blue, Sky Blue and Midnight Black.The 4GB RAM variant of the smartphone is priced at Rs 13,999, while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 17,999.
