Xiaomi India has officially confirmed the launch of Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series 2026 on April 15. The company has started teasing the features of the TV via its online handles and through Amazon and Flipkart microsites. The new TVs come with the ‘Quantum Magiq’ technology, which is likely hinting at the QD-Mini LED panel used in them. Globally, the S Mini LED lineup has launched in sizes from 55-inch to 98-inch. Although the brand hasn’t disclosed which screen sizes we can expect in India, let’s run through what we know about the global models.
But first, here’s what’s announced so far:
The launch date is April 15.
The highlight is the QD-Mini LED panel that uses thousands of smaller LEDs to precisely control light. Xiaomi says this can deliver ‘brighter highlights, deeper blacks, and sharper detail’. The company claims the brightness will be sustained without loss of details and light spill. And by nature, these are expected to endure long and not face burn-in risks like OLED panels.
Besides the picture quality claims, Xiaomi also says the TV will feature deep, clear and immersive sound.
So, overall, if you are planning to buy a premium Mini LED TV, you may wait for the Xiaomi TV launch on April 15 and here’s everything else we expect to see based on the globally available models.
