Xiaomi India has officially confirmed the launch of Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series 2026 on April 15. The company has started teasing the features of the TV via its online handles and through Amazon and Flipkart microsites. The new TVs come with the ‘Quantum Magiq’ technology, which is likely hinting at the QD-Mini LED panel used in them. Globally, the S Mini LED lineup has launched in sizes from 55-inch to 98-inch. • These are 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) TVs.
• They are rated up to 1,200 nits peak brightness, which should improve HDR performance in bright rooms
• Xiaomi claims 94% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, targeting more accurate colours
• The 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch models have standard 60Hz refresh rate
• The larger sizes (85-inch, 98-inch) with a 144Hz refresh rate would be better suited for gaming
• All models have HDR formats like HDR10+ and HLG, while Dolby Vision is exclusive to the larger ones.
• There is MEMC motion smoothing, also for sports and fast-moving content
• Software-wise, you get Google TV with Google Assistant, Chromecast, and Apple AirPlay support. There may be Xiaomi’s Patchwall UI on top of this.
• For sound, there is a dual 15W speaker setup on all models, and the larger variants support Dolby Atmos, too.
• Finally, for connectivity, smaller models use Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, while larger variants get Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. HDMI port configurations also vary, with premium models offering more HDMI 2.1 ports, which matters for gaming consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
