LG is expected to unveil its 2026 OLED TV range at CES in January. But ahead of the launch, leaked images and specification sheets have revealed major upgrades coming to the LG G6 and the long-absent W-series wallpaper OLED. The information, first spotted on forums like AVSForum and Bilibili and reported by publications like 4KFilme, offers an early look at display technology, design changes and sizing.
According to the reports, LG is preparing a full OLED lineup that includes the B6, B6E, C6, CS6, G6 and W6. The screen sizes are said to range from 42 inches to 97 inches, replacing today’s B5, C5, G5 and M5 models.
The standout talking point is a new Hyper Radiant OLED panel. Marketing material seen in the leaks mentions brightness ‘up to x3.9’ when paired with LG’s Brightness Booster Ultra. There is also mention of a ‘certified reflection-free’ panel coating, which should help with daytime viewing in bright rooms.
On the G6 specifically, the design appears to stay close to the current gallery-style look, built to sit close to the wall. Leaks suggest the G6 will be available from 48 inches up to 97 inches. However, Nvidia’s G-Sync certification database indicates the 97-inch variant may be limited to 120Hz, while smaller sizes could go up to 165Hz. That hints at a different underlying panel on the largest model.
Earlier this month, LG Display announced its 2026 OLED panel tech would move to ‘Primary RGB Tandem 2.0’, promising higher brightness and improved durability. The G6 leaks seem aligned with that direction.
The certification and leaked slides also mention:
The C6 is listed in G-Sync databases across 42 to 83 inches with 165Hz support, but detailed specifications remain unclear.

LG previously sold a wallpaper OLED under the W-series until 2020. The leaked materials suggest the W-series is also set to return with W6. It could be a wallpaper-style OLED in 77- and 83-inch sizes. It is said to carry most of the same display and processing features as the G6, but in a slimmer and more minimalist package.
The TV reportedly measures just 9.9mm thick and uses LG’s Zero Connect box. That means HDMI and USB ports sit in a separate wireless control unit, leaving only a power cable running to the TV. Photos and clips shared online show a metal frame, a tidier back panel, and support for both flush wall-mounting with a folding bracket and a standard table stand.
The revival suggests LG believes improvements in wireless and panel tech now make the wallpaper TV concept more practical again. Meanwhile, a brighter tandem OLED panel paired with anti-reflection coatings would help LG keep its high-end TVs competitive, especially for living rooms with lots of light.
LG appears to be leaning harder into the idea of premium TVs as wall art, not just screens. Yesterday, we learned about the LG Gallery TV with Mini LED tech.
These are leaks, not official announcements. Images may be early marketing drafts. And specifications can change before retail. Also, brightness claims like ‘x3.9 brighter’, are usually relative to a baseline model, not across the whole lineup. Real-world performance will depend on the picture mode, content, and thermal limits.
If you are eyeing a premium OLED, especially LG’s G-series, it may be worth waiting for CES 2026. The potential jump in brightness, gaming refresh rates, and design refinements could make the new models more future-proof.
