Haier India has launched the H5E 4K TV series, expanding its affordable big-screen TV portfolio ahead of the Republic Day sale season. The new lineup targets value-focused buyers looking for large 4K screens with Google TV software. You will also get basic features like Dolby Audio, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 4 HDMI and 2 USB-A ports. Here are the full specifications and other details:

The Haier H5E series is available in four screen sizes:

43-inch (108cm): Rs 25,990
50-inch (127cm): Rs 32,990
55-inch (139cm): Rs 38,990
65-inch (164cm): Rs 57,990

Specs and features

The Haier H5 sports a 4K panel with HDR10 support. It is said to offer 178 degrees viewing angle, MEMC smoothing and thin bezels. MEMC could reduce judder in fast-moving content like Live TV and sports. The company gives 7 picture modes for different content types.

On the audio side, you will get 20W down-firing stereo speakers with support for Dolby Audio, including Surround Sound.

The underlying software is Google TV running on top of 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. You can access the Google Play library of apps, personalised recommendations, multiple user profiles, Kids Mode and Watchlist support.

The connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz, 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, 4 HDMI, and 2 USB ports.

With the H5E Series, Haier is clearly targeting mainstream Indian households upgrading from Full HD or older smart TVs. Sure, there are TVs with a QLED panel and features like Dolby Vision available, but the sale and bank offers could make these Haier TVs more affordable.

Speaking on the launch, Mr NS Satish, President, Haier Appliances India, said the new launch makes smart TV technology accessible to a wider audience, and its Flipkart partnership, especially the Republic Day Sale, will help in reaching families and young consumers effectively.
