Haier has expanded its premium TV lineup in India with the launch of two new OLED series TVs – the C90 and C95. This isn’t the brand’s first foray into the OLED space in the country. Haier previously introduced the C11 OLED series with aggressively priced 55-inch and 65-inch OLED options. The new models are being manufactured in India and will strengthen Haier’s position in the OLED market that is currently dominated by LG, Sony and Samsung.
Commenting on the launch of the brand-new smart TVs, Mr. NS Satish, President, Haier Appliances India, said, “The expansion of our premium TV portfolio has been remarkable, driven by the overwhelming response from customers across India. Last year’s launches received an exceptional reception, reinforcing our belief in delivering innovation that truly resonates with Indian consumers. As a brand that prioritizes quality, design, and cutting-edge technology, Haier India remains committed to providing an immersive viewing experience like never before. With the launch of the C90 and C95 OLED TVs, we are confident in setting a new benchmark in home entertainment. We take immense pride in the fact that these televisions are locally manufactured, further demonstrating our commitment to India’s growth and the ‘Make in India’ initiative.”
The Haier C90 OLED TV will be available in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch sizes, while the C95 OLED TV will be offered in 55-inch and 65-inch variants. Prices for the C90 series start at ₹1,29,990, while the high-end C95 series starts at ₹1,56,990. The TVs will go on sale starting May 1, 2025, and can be purchased via Haier’s official website, leading e-commerce platforms, and major retail outlets across the country.
Both the C90 and C95 OLED TVs come with a swivel stand for adjustable viewing angles. They also offer 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, with built-in Chromecast and Wi-Fi 6 support for faster streaming and casting. On the software front, the TVs run Google TV with support for hands-free voice control.
Supported HDR formats include Dolby Vision IQ and HDR 10+. The C95 OLED with 144Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium should be appealing for console and PC gamers. The C90 supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
Just as in C11, the audio is handled by Harman Kardon-tuned speakers, with a 2.1 channel system and Dolby Atmos. The 77-inch variant of the C90 goes a step further with a 65W sound system. As always, Haier also integrates dbx-tv audio enhancement for better dialogue clarity and surround effects.
