Amazon’s Great Indian Festival Diwali offers include discounts on BLACK+DECKER’s A1 series TVs across sizes from 32 inches to 65 inches. The models from 43 inches and above are 4K UHD TVs, and they benefit from the recent GST cut from 28% to 18%. So, the deals reduce the effective price of these TVs compared with typical market averages, thanks to GST savings, bank offers, and more. The 43-inch model sees the steepest percentage drop of over 20%. These prices make the series worth a look for budget-conscious buyers who want a larger 4K screen without premium pricing.

BLACK+ DECKER A1 series TV specifications

The A1 series starts with an HD-ready (32-inch) model, and the rest, from the 43-inch model to the 65-inch model, are 4K UHD variants.

The 32-inch model features an HDR10 panel with enhanced brightness and contrast for more vivid visuals, paired with 30W Dolby Audio-supported sound.

The 43-inch and larger variants step up to 4K UHD resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate, gain more powerful speakers (30W to 36W), and enhancements like Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which could give a more immersive picture and fuller sound, and MEMC, which could improve motion handling during sports or fast-paced scenes.

These TVs also bring gaming benefits like ALLM, which automatically reduces input lag, and VRR, which keeps gameplay smooth and tear-free. They support dual-band Wi-Fi also which could be beneficial for faster and more stable streaming performance. All models run on Android 14-based Google TV OS, offering a familiar interface, content recommendations, and access to major streaming apps.

Should you consider

These TVs come from BLACK+DECKER, a renowned American brand, which is licensed and distributed by Indkal Technologies in India. You can consider them for their accessible pricing for larger-screen 4K models. They could offer decent value if you prioritise screen size over premium picture features. In our review of the 55-inch model, we said, ‘Compromises have been made and that’s understandable considering the price point, but overall the TV offers good value. You get excellent colour accuracy in SDR, high contrast and decent HDR performance with Dolby Vision support.’

The sale also includes deals on Acer TVs (also licensed and distributed by Indkal Technologies). So, you can check them out, too.
