BSNL 84 day prepaid recharge plan with 3GB daily data and Unlimited call under Rs 599
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a Rs 1 prepaid plan as part of its Independence Day celebrations. The state-owned telecom company announced the limited-time ‘Freedom Offer’ via its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, aiming to promote digital accessibility across India. The plan offers impressive benefits for just Rs 1, including 30 days of unlimited calling, 2GB of high-speed data per day, and 100 free SMS daily. Users can also enjoy nationwide roaming, making it one of the most affordable entry-level packs currently available.
BSNL confirmed that the offer is valid exclusively for new users. To avail of it, customers must purchase a new BSNL SIM card between August 1 and August 31, with the recharge amount fixed at Rs 1. The plan is available across all telecom circles.
Recently, BSNL also announced a dedicated Yatra SIM card for pilgrims undertaking the Shri Amarnath Yatra 2025, aiming to ensure reliable and affordable connectivity during the sacred journey. The Yatra SIM is priced at Rs 196 and comes with a validity of 15 days. It offers unlimited 4G data and voice calls, allowing users to stay connected throughout the pilgrimage route without worrying about balance or recharges.

Pilgrims can avail of this SIM card from BSNL counters set up at key registration and yatra starting points. The SIM cards can be purchased in Lakhanpur, Pahalgam, Baltal, Chandrakot, and Bhagwati Nagar.
To buy a new Yatra SIM, users will need to complete their KYC (Know Your Customer) by using their Aadhar card or government ID and the Shri Amarnath Yatra slip. Once the verification is done, buyers will get an active 4G SIM with immediate connectivity.
