BSNL has reintroduced its popular Rs 1 plan after the surge in demands from its customers. The state-owned telecom operator announced the reintroduction of this plan through its official page on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The plan is expected to benefit first-time subscribers as well as buyers looking for a second SIM card for their daily requirements at a nominal price of just Rs 1. However, interested users will need to act fast, as this is a limited-time offer and will not be available for long. Here’s how you can claim this limited-time offer before the deadline ends and what it includes.

BSNL offers unlimited voice calls to any network across India. Aside from that, the plan also provides 100 SMS per day to users. For those who love to be online, the company has equipped the plan with 2GB of data per day, which is enough for normal internet surfing, chatting, and even browsing videos on YouTube or watching reels on Instagram. The best part is that the brand offers a 30-day validity with its Rs 1 plan, allowing users to enjoy all these services uninterrupted during this period.
Please note that the 30-day validity starts from the date the new BSNL SIM is activated. Furthermore, this is a limited-time offer and will end on January 31, 2026. Hence, BSNL has advised the interested buyers, especially those who want a cheap secondary number or want to test BSNL’s network, to act fast.
To get this offer, customers need to visit the nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre (CSC) or an authorised BSNL retailer. After completing the KYC process, the BSNL SIM will be given and activated with the Rs 1 plan. Once activated, users can start using calls, data, and SMS immediately.
