Bhari Airtel offers free Facebook access in 9 regional languages

Now Airtel prepaid users can access Facebook for free in your regional languages.

Bharti Airtel is now offering free Facebook access in as many as nine regional languages to its prepaid customers in India – Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. As a limited period offer, Airtel is offering free access Facebook with a cap of 30 MB/ month.

Prepaid Airtel users can now use the mobile browser or app to view or upload photos, post status updates, comment and write on walls, message in their regional language. Existing mobile Internet users on Airtel can access the Facebook mobile site on m.facebook.com. Customers accessing the mobile internet for the first time will have to register at m.facebook.com to avail of this special offer.

Airtel says the language support is compatible with all major platforms including Java, Android, iOS and Windows devices.
