Xiaomi is willing to offer replacement batteries under “official” supervision.

Xiaomi’s Battery Replacement Program will help undergo the entire process.

Xiaomi has launched a Battery Replacement Program for its products in India. The program will allow customers to get a replacement for their smartphone's faulty and ageing battery for a minimal cost under the “official” supervision of Xiaomi. Batteries are the most important and complicated component of any smartphone. Changing them through unofficial means is dangerous, which is why a brand-led service like Xiaomi's Battery Replacement Program is critical.

Xiaomi battery replacement details

The service looks rather simple if the particular battery you are looking for is available. You can contact Xiaomi’s Authorised Service Centre to check the availability. Appointments for the same can be booked through the Service+ App.

Once your appointment is set, you must go to the service centre in person to get the replacement. Xiaomi does not specify how long it will take, but it should vary depending on the model of smartphone you have.

The pricing for this starts at ₹499.
