Vivo X Fold 5 is set to debut in China on June 25. The company has officially confirmed the launch date, alongside the design and colour options, through a Weibo post. The smartphone is teased to be “lighter, stronger” than the X Fold 3. Additionally, the handset will sport a flat cover display with slim bezels and a centred hole-punch slot at the top. On the rear panel, it may have three cameras, an LED flash unit and the Zeiss branding on top. Meanwhile, the handset has also been spotted on the BIS listing, hinting at an imminent launch in India.

Vivo is yet to announce the X Fold 5 debut in India; however, the handset is rumoured to arrive alongside the Vivo X200 FE in mid-July.
Based on reports, the Vivo X Fold 5 is likely to come with similar features as its Chinese counterpart. The handset may ship with an 8T LTPO display with an ultra-high refresh rate, ultra-high resolution, and 4500nit local peak brightness. The smartphone is also said to get a TÜV Rheinland global eye protection 3.0 certification.
Additionally, the Vivo X Fold 5 is likely to feature an 8.03-inch expansive AMOLED screen and a 6.53-inch LTPO OLED cover display. Under the hood, it may come backed by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset coupled with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
For optics, the Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to ship with a triple rear camera unit comprising three 50-megapixel sensors. There could also be dual 32-megapixel sensors on the inner and outer screens.
Furthermore, the device could get a three-stage Alert Slider, a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.

The upcoming Vivo X Fold 5 is tipped to be priced lower than the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, which debuted in India at Rs 1,59,999 for the 16GB + 512GB configuration.
