The Vivo X Fold 5 is confirmed to launch in China on June 25, and its India launch is also expected to be in the pipeline. While the Chinese OEM hasn’t shared any details on the device’s arrival in India, reports suggest that the smartphone may ship with similar features to its Chinese counterpart. Additionally, the device was recently spotted on the BIS listing, hinting at its imminent launch in the country. The upcoming foldable phone is rumoured to be accompanied by the Vivo X200 FE.

Vivo X Fold 5 is rumoured to launch in India alongside the Vivo X200 FE in mid-July i.e., July 10. However, there are no concrete details on the same.
The Vivo X Fold 5 is tipped to feature an 8.03-inch 8T LTPO expansive display when unfolded and a 6.53-inch LTPO OLED cover display when folded. The handset may offer a 4500-nit local peak brightness with a TÜV Rheinland global eye protection 3.0 certification.
Under the hood, it may be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
For optics, the Vivo X Fold 5 is rumoured to feature a triple rear camera unit comprising three 50-megapixel sensors. Additionally, the phone may also house dual 32-megapixel sensors on the inner and outer screens.
Other leaked details include a three-stage Alert Slider, a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.

The upcoming Vivo X Fold 5 could be priced cheaper than the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in India. The latter was revealed at Rs 1,59,999 for the 16GB + 512GB configuration.
