Vivo V50 5G price drop
Vivo is reportedly gearing up to expand its mid-range smartphone segment with the V60. The device has been in rumour mills for a while now, suggesting at an imminent launch. While the company has been tight-lipped about the rumoured device, a recent report tipped the phone’s expected price range. Additionally, Vivo V60’s camera, design and other details have also been leaked, giving some sneak peeks of the device. The alleged renders of the rumoured phone have also surfaced on the internet, suggesting a pill-shaped rear camera island.

According to a report by Smartprix, Vivo V60 will debut in India on August 12. However, the brand is yet to confirm the details officially.
Vivo V60 is expected to come with a price tag ranging between Rs 37,000 and Rs 40,000. To recall, Vivo V50 was launched at Rs 34,999 in India for the base model.
Recently, the phone’s alleged renders were leaked on the internet, revealing three colour variants: Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold. Unlike previous models, the vivo V60 will reportedly feature a flat display instead of a curved one. Further, the phone is also tipped to get a ZEISS-branded triple rear camera setup.

The rumoured Vivo V60 is expected to feature a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness. The phone is said to come with a 50-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel 3X periscope telephoto sensor on the back. Additionally, it could get a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The leak also suggests that the Vivo V60 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, a 6,500mAh battery pack with support for 90W fast charging. The device may run Funtouch OS, based on Android 16, out of the box. The device is also expected to support IP68 and IP69 rated water and dust resistance.
