Vivo is preparing to launch its next-generation premium mid-range smartphone, known as the Vivo V60 5G. The company has already confirmed that the Vivo V50 successor will include the popular Zeiss-tuned camera. This year, the company will offer display and performance upgrades, as well as an IP68 and IP69 rating. The company has also confirmed some key specifications and colour variants via its microsite.

Vivo has confirmed that the upcoming V series device will launch on August 12. The fans can view the launch live on the company’s official YouTube channel, and for the latest updates, follow the company’s social media.

Vivo V60 5G could launch with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits peak brightness. The device will finally get the performance upgrade, thanks to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The device may come paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4x type RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2. The device is confirmed to have a 6,500 mAh battery pack with 90W wired charging. As per Abhishek Yadav, the device will run on FunTouch OS 15.
As for the camera, the Vivo V60 5G may come with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. For selfies, the device could get a 50MP front camera.
According to the reports, the Vivo V60 5G could be priced at Rs 35,999 while the top variant could be priced at around Rs 39,999. However, the exact prices remain under wraps at the moment. It will be available on Flipkart, Vivo e-store, and other retail channels.
