The Vivo T2 series will see daylight on April 11 in India. There will be two phones: Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2X 5G, the latter likely being the more affordable one. They will be available via Flipkart and are reportedly different from their Chinese counterparts. The launch announcement poster reveals this design divergence and here’s what we gather from the official microsite as well as their recently spotted Google Play Console listing.

5 expected Vivo T2 series specs and features

Here are the few expected specs and features of Vivo T2 and Vivo T2X phones scheduled to launch on April 11 at 12 PM. The phones will be available via Flipkart, Vivo.com, and select stores near you.

On to the specs now:

1. Vivo T2 is likely to feature a 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch, up to 1300 nits peak brightness, 6000000:1 contrast ratio, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The T2X could also sport an FHD+ panel. 

2. Under the hood, the T2 could be bearing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip while the T2X could be carrying a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip. You could expect Android-13-based Funtouch OS 13 on the top.

3. Both phones appear to have the SIM tray and the secondary mic hole on their heads.

4. The teaser poster also discloses the squared-off edges and big camera ring design of the two phones. Also, at least one of their colours.

5. The T2 could come with a 64MP primary camera. The Chinese T2X houses a 50MP main camera.

The speculations suggest the phones could be priced under ₹20,000. The T2 could come in 6/8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The company will be teasing more of the features through the microsite in the days leading up to the launch day. Let’s keep an eye out for the same.
