Samsung fans may finally have a reason to celebrate, as leaks suggest that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series could solve the brand’s long-standing wireless charging limitations. While many competitors now offer 50W or faster wireless charging, Samsung has remained at a modest 15W, but that may change. One UI 8.5 code hints at a new ‘Super Fast Wireless Charging’ mode, with the Samsung S26 Ultra potentially reaching 25W and the S26 and S26 Plus around 20W. Wired charging could also be faster, with the Ultra supporting up to 60W. Combined with a 6.9-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and high-end quad-camera system, the S26 series appears ready to deliver the speed and performance users have long awaited.
The recent leaked details suggest the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 25W wireless charge and 60W wired charge, while the base S26 and S26 Plus could support 20W wireless charging. This is a notable change in Samsung’s approach, showing that the company is finally responding to user demand for faster and more practical charging speeds, even if it’s not the highest in the market yet.

The Galaxy S26 series is expected to follow the same pattern, as the worldwide launch is expected sometime in February 2026, so Indian buyers can most likely expect it around late February or early March 2026.

The flagship is expected to keep Samsung’s premium and minimalistic design. Leaks show new colour options, including an orange variant, in addition to the usual shades. The phone may sport a 6.9-inch AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness for a bright and smooth everyday experience.
Under the hood, the S26 Ultra should be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and matched with a 5,000 mAh battery for seamless performance and endurance. Improvements in the camera department are also expected, most likely comprising a quad rear camera arrangement housing a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and a 10MP telephoto lens to make it even more appealing to photography lovers.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could start from Rs 1,34,999 and go up to Rs 1,39,999. A slight bump in pricing is understandable, considering better components, use of premium materials, and new AI-based capabilities.
