Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Amazon
Samsung has officially begun rolling out the stable One UI 8.0 update to users of its Galaxy S23 series in India. The update, based on Android 16, was first released in South Korea last week and then expanded to European countries. Now, Indian users of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are finally receiving the update.
The update carries the firmware version S91xBXXU8EYI5 and comes with the September 2025 security patch. The download size is roughly 3GB, so users are recommended to have a stable Wi-Fi connection before installing it.
Here’s how you can install it.
Once the update is available for your device, you’ll get a notification to download it. To install manually, head to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. After the download completes, tap Install now, and your phone will restart automatically.
If you haven’t received the notification yet, you can check manually by visiting Settings > Software Update > Check for updates. Since this is a phased rollout, it may take a few days for all users to get it.
One UI 8.0 brings several useful upgrades, including an improved Secure Folder, offering stronger data protection. Further, apps like Calendar, Reminders, and Alarm have also been upgraded with smarter management tools.
The update also brings a new look to Quick Share, Samsung Internet, and My Files, making the interface cleaner and easier to navigate. Modes and Routines now support new conditions and automation actions.
