Samsung launches two phones in India: Champ for Rs. 4,500 & Omnia Lite for Rs. 17,560

Samsung has brought two phones to India: Samsung Champ C3303 was unveiled globally just a couple of months ago, but the Samsung OmniaLite B7300 made its way into the world more than a year back, and features the aging Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional.

The Samsung Champ is certainly a feature-rich resistive touch phone at its price: Rs. 4,500, and runs on Samsung’s proprietary OS with TouchWiz Lite 2.0 UI. The phone features a stylus, a 2.4-inch 240×320 pixel screen capable of 256K colours, weighs just 80g, and has a 1.3MP camera. Check out its full specifications in the table below.

The Samsung Omnia Lite is priced at 17,560, and apart from featuring an outdated 3-inch resistive touchscreen and operating sytem (which further limits the screen to just 65K colours), has some rather capable specs, including a 800MHz ARM 1176 processor and 3G connectivity.
