Samsung’s much-rumoured Galaxy Z TriFold may finally be breaking out of its regional bubble. While early leaks hinted that the triple-folding phone would be exclusive to China and South Korea, new reports suggest the device could see a wider release, possibly in markets like the UAE and the U.S.
According to SamMobile, Samsung is reportedly impressed with how well the TriFold has shaped up during development, prompting the brand to consider a broader global launch. However, the extent of this rollout remains unclear, as sources indicate that availability could still be limited depending on production volumes and market demand.
Design-wise, the Galaxy Z TriFold is said to feature two inward-folding hinges, allowing it to open into a near-tablet form factor while still offering a usable outer display for regular smartphone tasks. The main foldable screen is expected to measure around 10 inches, complemented by a 6.5-inch cover display.
Under the hood, Samsung is likely to equip the device with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and at least 256GB of internal storage. The phone could also borrow Samsung’s new ultra-thin and durable hinge design seen on the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Further reports hint at a modest 25W charging rate, not exactly cutting-edge for a futuristic triple-folding phone. Still, if the Galaxy Z TriFold does go global, it could mark Samsung’s boldest step yet in redefining the foldable landscape.
As per the reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold could be priced at around $3,000 (roughly Rs 2,64,000). However, this is just a leak and none of these details are officially confirmed.
