Samsung has unveiled its newest lineup of foldable smartphones- Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE, just a few days ago, and the company is gearing up for its first-ever trifold phone. After the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung has confirmed that the device may be unveiled by the end of this year. The handset’s tentative name, Galaxy Z TriFold, has also surfaced on the internet recently. Now, a new leak suggests that the device may arrive sooner than expected.

Tispter Ice Universe has shared some new insights on the tentative launch timeline of the Galaxy Z TriFold. The handset is expected to arrive in October 2025, possibly alongside the Galaxy S25 FE. The tipster also claimed that HUAWEI’s second-generation Mate XT will be launched in September, followed by Samsung’s trifold phone. However, none of these details are officially confirmed.
The upcoming Galaxy Z TriFold is rumoured to sport a cover display positioned in the middle segment, with the right panel facing inward. The handset is also expected to ship with a similar camera setup to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 on the rear panel.
Additionally, the trifold phone is tipped to feature a titanium chassis and titanium hinges. Furthermore, it is also rumoured to have a 10-inch OLED screen. Further, a new string code spotted in One UI 8 internal beta suggests that it may pack a Snapdragon 8 Elite under the hood.

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to be priced around 4 million Korean Won ($ 3,000), which roughly translates to Rs 2,50,000 in India.
