After the Galaxy S25 series launch, Samsung is now gearing up to launch its next Z generation devices including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. While we don’t know much about the Galaxy Z Flip 7 device, leaks about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 have hinted towards some massive camera, display, and performance upgrades. As per the reports, the latest fold phone is said to get a 200 MP primary camera, a bigger display, and a new processor. Here’s what
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to come with an 8.2-inch inner AMOLED panel along with a 6.5-inch outer AMOLED screen. The device may come powered with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and may get up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The device is expected to house a 4,400 mAh battery, the same as its predecessor.

As for the camera, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is said to come with a 200MP primary shooter, the same as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. If true, this will be the first Samsung foldable device (outside South Korea) to get the 200MP shooter. However, other camera sensors are said to be the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 6. This means that Fold 7 will have a 12MP ultrawide sensor and a 10MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, it may get a 10MP, 4MP front-facing camera.
Just like every year, Samsung may introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 7 along with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the global markets in July at the Unpacked 2025. Interestingly, the leaks also suggest that the company may also introduce its first tri-fold smartphone at the same event.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to launch at Rs 1,64,999 in India (for the 12GB + 256GB variant). The buyers may also get 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options.
